Cashew-Cream Slaw Sauce
Mix Cashew-Cream Slaw Sauce with grated vegetables for a cholesterol-free slaw. Cabbage puts the cole in coleslaw, but this is also good with the Zlaw mix from Wildly Affordable Organic and even bagged, pre-shredded veg mixes from the grocery store. It also works as a salad dressing for more tender lettuce salads and as a sandwich spread.

Cashew-Cream Slaw Sauce
The picture shows Zlaw made with Cashew-Cream Slaw Sauce and garnished with Thai basil from my garden. Love that purple flower!
Active time: 1 minute, starting with Cashew Cream. Total time: 1 minute. Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Cashew Cream
- 2 teaspoons apple-cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Method
- Mix all ingredients in a small bowl, stir to mix, and stir into 3 cups shredded vegetables. Best served chilled within a day or two.
